29 January lost and foundI was at a Dinner last friday hosted by气功老师 at UIC building.
Dinner started at 7:30 sharp, I was late , when I arrived, I just missed the opening speach.
It was good to catch up with some old friends, old - really old folks, as most young people would rather practice Yoga than 气功. But mind you, the old folks could be some rich people, judging by the car they drive and the donation they make, anyway, I don't judge a person based on wealth.
The Dinner was so so, the program was nothing to talk about.
I found out that I lost a Gold Diamond braclet after dinner, worth a few grant.
By the time I realised it, I was half way home and it was late at night.
I called up the restaurant hoping someone would have found it. But to my dissapointment.
I decided to head back to the Car park, while praying to the 大伯公 that I can find it, and chanting the 大伯公 on the way back.
When I reached the vicinity of the car park lot, I aimed the car head light inwards.
When I opened the car door, I saw a small light glown in the dark and the light went off.
I just head in that direction, there it was, the gold braclet was there.
Is it that I am lucky or my prayer was heard ? Most likely it is my prayer that was heard, as I often pray and talk to the 大伯公, as I have the 气 feeling when I offered my thanks. The 气 feeling is liked there is a lot of small needle poking, the feeling mostly on the head and face. When certain People talk about me, I sometime feel it too,... etc
Lucky me.
